Course objectives In the last 20-30 years Surgical Endodontics has become a Specialty with long term results predictable like never before. The introduction of the Surgical Operating Microscope, the use of Piezo surgery and the new biocompatible materials are the most important developments which contributed to improve and increase the long term prognosis from 50% like it was before to more than 95% today. There is a precise protocol that must be followed and then the satisfactory results will arrive! The several steps of the surgical procedure must be followed properly and completely to guarantee a successful therapy. These steps will be discussed in detail during the course and the participants will have the opportunity to apply them during the work-shop working on natural teeth mounted on special anatomically designed models
