Completed the 3-year Advanced Education in Prosthodontics Postgraduate Course at the University of Southern California (USC) in the United States.

Collaborating professor in the Master’s Degree in Periodontics at the Complutense University of Madrid and in the Master’s Degree in Aesthetics.

Dr. Eric Van Dooren attended the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, where he received his degree in dentistry in 1982. After graduating he opened a private practice in Antwerp, Belgium, which is limited to periodontics, fixed prosthodontics, and implants.

He is an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.

• Prof. Hesham Marei is a Professor and Consultant of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He graduated at Cairo University in 1997, and then received his Master and Doctoral Degrees in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Suez Canal University, Egypt. Dr. Marei has completed his clinical oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Cardiff Dental School, UK and obtained his Fellowship in Dental Surgery in 2006 from the Royal College of Surgeons in London.
• Moreover, Dr. Marei has a passion in medical education. Such passion derived him to obtain another Master’s Degree in Medical Education in 2012 and a PhD in the Health Professions Education in 2018 at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Dr. Marei PhD thesis is about the use of computer simulation in dental education.
• In research, Dr. Marei has over 40 publications in internationally recognized journal and his research focus is on the applications of 3D printing technology in dentistry, the effect of chemotherapy on bone healing, osseointegration of dental implants, use of virtual patients in dental education and medical professionalism.

Educator actively involved in both hosting and lecturing CME’s in the field of Prosthodontics, Esthetics and Implantology.

Dr Clavijo holds a degree in Dentistry from Universidade Paulista, São Paulo, Brazil (2002) and obtained the title of Specialist, Master and Doctor in Restorative Dentistry, from UNESP Araraquara (2003–2011). Despite his academic background, his focus is on clinical care. He has followed in the footsteps of his father, who has been a clinician for over 50 years in the city of Indaiatuba, São Paulo, Brazil. He has more than 60 articles published in national and international journals and has authored and co-authored books in the dental field. His work is based on clinical and scientific evidence. Currently, he divides his time between appointments at his clinic, classes, and courses in Brazil and abroad. In addition, he contributes to research in dentistry; he conducts teaching training annually at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA, as a visiting professor.
